ICRC 2023 is a conference that aims to foster cooperation and collaboration between The University of Kitakyushu and other universities in Indonesia and Malaysia. The conference is the third in a series, with the first being held at Airlangga University on March 5, 2018 and the second being held online on April 25-27, 2021. The conference disseminates and publishes the research results of 164 articles by the consortium on the fields of environmental management, education, and technology and published at https://iopscience.iop.org/issue/1755-1315/245/1 and https://iopscience.iop.org/year/1755-1315/Y2021. Additionally, it provides opportunities for collaboration between The University of Kitakyushu and community members and academics who are interested in research in these fields. This year, The University of Kitakyushu, Japan will be the host of the third ICRC.
ICRC 2023 is inviting scholars and researchers to participate and share their knowledge and experiences in order to enhance the understanding and advancement of environmental and sustainability issues in their respective countries. This conference is and held in a hybrid, you can choose offline or online and also designed to gain innovation with general topics “Development of Science and Technology for Solving Environmental Problems” which specifically can be included in these selected sub topic:
- solid waste management and treatment;
- air pollution modelling and treatment;
- water treatment and resource management;
- low carbon initiative;
- renewable energy; and
- environmental sustainability

**Publication fees is charged separately with the oral and poster presentation. By default, the accepted manuscript will be sent to IOP:EES (Scopus indexed). However, some manuscripts which has outstanding quality will transferred to the journals. The additional charge for journal publication will be informed soon after the acceptance of the journal.
Registration fee include:
abstract book, conference program, ID Card, certificate, lunches and coffee break (for all participant) and publication in conference proceeding (for presenter only)
